There are so many strange red flags in this story. The probably fake allergy is just one of them. The threats to the landlord. The existence of the other two cats. We understand why this roommate might not be the happiest with someone showing up with a new pet in their house without warning, but her behavior is all off.

For the future though, it is our personal recommendation that, no matter the situation in your house or in your contract, you should still warn your roommate if you're going to be bringing in a new pet. Just to be a decent roommate yourself.
